Capcom officially announced the release date for the Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective remaster. It will appear on June 30, 2023. The announcement was made on the Capcom Spotlight presentation.
An official Steam page for this remaster is already up. People can pre-order the game for $29.99. The pre-order bonuses there are four themed background wallpapers featuring the main characters and two unlocked songs from the start.
This remastering of the DS classic will feature HD image quality, increased framerates, and an optimized user interface. In addition, it will have a concept art image gallery and a soundtrack music player available. The game includes a new feature as well, a minigame called “Ghost Puzzles.” In it, players have to rearrange tiles to build the correct order of the images.
Capcom originally released Ghost Trick for Nintendo DS in 2010, then later ported the game to iOS devices. In the story, a ghost named Sissel uses his new supernatural powers to uncover the mystery of his murder and protect more people involved in the case. This new remaster was first announced in the Nintendo Direct broadcast on February 8, 2023.
The Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective release date is June 30, 2023. It will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
