GrimGrimoire OnceMore Trailer Showcases Gameplay

Nippon Ichi released a GrimGrimoire OnceMore trailer, which showcases significant characters and gameplay. The gameplay shown in the trailer concerns the use of Familiars, which the protagonist can summon with Runes. These units can be controlled and moved throughout the individual areas. Additionally, this GrimGrimoire OnceMore trailer provides a look at combat. Familiars are seen moving through areas, fighting slews of enemies that block their paths. This is one aspect of GrimGrimoire, where the player will either need to take their opponent’s base or survive waves of enemies. Characters shown in the trailer include Advocat, Opalnaria Rain, and Gammel Dore. Each of these characters is a significant figure at the Magic Academy where the protagonist Lillet Blan studies.

GrimGrimoire OnceMore will have several quality of life features. This includes the inclusion of a “fast-forward” function and the option to save mid-battle. Additionally, adjustments have been made to the Hard difficulty to make it more challenging in this release.

GrimGrimoire OnceMore will release for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on July 28, 2022, in Japan. An international release has yet to be announced.
