It’s time for the fairies to make some noise. Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy is now on sale, and Bandai Namco has released a launch trailer to celebrate the event.
The trailer for this single-player stand-alone expansion of Gundam Battle Operation 2 introduces the three central characters. Alma Stirner, Mia Brinkman, and Helena Hegel are mobile suit pilots of Zeon. They make up Noisy Fairy, a secret mobile suit squad based in North America. They report to their commanding officer Killey, and operate out of a base codenamed TÃr na nÓg. The game takes place eight months into the One Year War, the devastating conflict that backgrounds much of Mobile Suit Gundam‘s Universal Century setting.

Selected for their distinguished training or combat records, the trio deploys against against Earth Federation Forces. Over the course of Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy, Noisy Fairy takes on the enemy, using teamwork to triumph against difficult odds. Federation forces begin calling them the “witches” for their seemingly magical tactics. The trailer also shows their encounter against Lilith, who pilots a mobile suit wielding a two-pronged beam spear.
Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy will release in three installments containing five missions apiece between November 5 and December 3, 2021. Animated story segments and narrative developments are interspersed between and during the playable missions. Players can purchase each volume separately, or all at once in a bundle. Players who purchase Code Fairy will be able to unlock rewards, like playable mobile suits in the free-to-play Gundam Battle Operation 2 main game. Similarly, GBO 2 players can unlock special missions for when they return to Code Fairy.
Volume 1 of Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy is immediately available on PS4 and PS5.
