FFXIV battle changes explained in the 6.51 patch

In addition to the new content in the FFXIV patch 6.51 notes, there are also some battle changes and adjustments for PvP. The Paladin job now has major buffs for Confiteor, Blade of Faith, Blade of Truth, and Blade of Valor. All four of these have been boosted regarding how much healing they do for the Paladin in PvP only.

For the Ninja job, Doton, Hollow Nozuchi, and Seiton Tenchu have all been buffed considerably when it comes to PvP matches. On the Sage side, both Pneuma and Eukrasian Dosis III have been buffed quite a lot. The one exception to this is the stacks you get from Pneuma are now four stacks instead of the usual five.

When it comes to Dragoons, their limit break in PvP, Sky High, has some color variations so allies will know they aren’t going to be hurt while enemies will have a clearer idea that an enemy Dragoon is using it. Finally, a similar situation happened with pets like Bahamut Egi, so users know when an ally or enemy Summoner is using them.
