FFXIV Patch 6.5 is here, bringing Part 1 of the “Growing Light” finale for the Endwalker expansion. This new patch means new main scenario quests for players to complete. It all starts off this time with the FFXIV MSQ “Seeking the Light.” As always, you might need to know where to begin this quest so you can see the next part of the long-running story, and I have your back.
How do I start the 6.5 Part 1 FFXIV Main Scenario Quest “Seeking the Light”
To begin the FFXIV MSQ “Seeking the Light,” you’ll want to head to Radz-at-Han in the Thavnair region. Simply use your teleport ability to go to the city. From there, use the main Aetheryte crystal to teleport to the Meghaduta crystal in the northwestern part of the city. You can find the starting point for this quest in the exact spot of X: 4.4, Y: 9.8 in Radz-at-Han.
There you’ll find the NPC Varshahn, who will let you begin the “Seeking the Light” quest. From there, it is pretty straightforward, as the new patch will guide you to every location you need to head to and let you know what you need to do there. If you are starting the main scenario quests right when the patch drops, you probably won’t have a hard time finding the quest; just look for the swarms of people trying to start it as well.
How many Main Scenario Quests are in FFXIV 6.5 Part 1?
Since this is only the first part of patch 6.5 in the FFXIV “Growing Light” MSQ, you might be wondering if this means there are only a few story quests this time around. Surprisingly enough, there are actually around seven quests in total to do for the main story. This is very close to the typical eight or so we usually get in a new major patch.
