Here are the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Version Exclusives (So Far)

Every Pokemon game features its exclusives. It’s a tradition, given that there are two versions for each one. The idea is, of course, to encourage a sense of community alongside the drive to catch them all. As Pokemon Scarlet and Violet aren’t out until November 18, 2022, we don’t know all of the exclusives and differences in each version yet.

First, here are the exclusive Pokemon that will be found in Pokemon Scarlet.

  • Armarouge
  • Great Tusk (Donphan)
  • Larvitar (and by extension, Pupitar and Tyranitar)
  • Koraidon
  • Stonjourner

Next, these are the exclusive Pokemon that appear in Pokemon Violet.

  • Bagon (and by extension, Shellgon and Salamence)
  • Ceruledge
  • Eiscue
  • Iron Treads (Donphan)
  • Miraidon

While the Pokemon featured in each one are the main differences, there are some tied to the school as well. The Pokemon Scarlet school is Naranja Academy and features a uniform with red accents. It is also the game with Professor Sada as your mentor. In Pokemon Violet, players will attend Uva Academy, wear a uniform with purple in it, and be reporting to Professor. Turo.

There are also some leaked version-exclusive characters that will appear that are called “Paradox” Pokemon. As these are coming from early copies or datamines, all details aren’t available yet. However, the initial reports online suggest the following characters will also be in each game.

Editor’s Note: There are leaked Pokemon Scarlet and Violet spoiler version exclusives that mark additional differences between the two titles.

In Pokemon Scarlet, people will supposedly see Brute Bonnet (Amoonguss), Flutter Mane (Misdreavus), Roaring Moon (Salamance), Sandy Shocks (Magneton) and Slither Wing (Volcarona). In Pokemon Violet, Iron Bundle (Delibird), Iron Hands (Hariyama), Iron Jugulis (Hydreigon), Iron Moth (Volcarona), Iron Thorns (Tyranitar), and Iron Valiant (Gallade) apparently appear.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will launch on November 18, 2022. There will be a “day one patch.”
