Here’s What Devil May Cry 5 Vergil Gameplay Looks Like on a PS5

With the PS5 and Xbox One on the way this month, as well as the update version of Devil May Cry 5, lots of details are appearing. For example, the latest has to do with how Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition runs on a PS5. Embargoes have expired, which means lot of new clips of Devil May Cry 5 Vergil footage are showing what the other son of Sparda is capable of in the game. [Thanks, Famitsu and IGN!]

First, here’s IGN’s footage showing 4K Vergil gameplay.

Next, here’s Famitsu’s look at Turbo Mode. (Nero is the playable character here, rather than Vergil.) As is common with Devil May Cry Turbo Modes, it increases the general speed of the game, making the player character and opponents faster.

Finally, here’s IGN’s Legendary Dark Knight Mode footage. Should someone pick this mode, they’ll see many more enemies than usual on-screen. In this example, Vergil is slashing through horders of opponents.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will come to the Xbox Series X on November 10, 2020, the PlayStation 5 in Australia, Japan North America, and South Korea on November 12, 2020, and the PS5 in the rest of the world on November 19, 2020. Physical next-gen copies will appear in stores on December 1, 2020. The Vergil DLC will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 15, 2020.
