Devil May Cry 5 Vergil DLC Will Be Available December 15, 2020

The Vergil DLC for Devil May Cry 5 will be available on December 15, 2020. As previously announced, this DLC content will add Vergil into the game as a playable character. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC users that purchase this DLC for Devil May Cry 5 will have access to Vergil’s story content and be able to use him in the Bloody Palace. Since this is DLC, those who wish to access this content will need to have purchased Devil May Cry 5. Additionally, this DLC will not come with all of the bells and whistles found with the game’s Special Edition version. This includes features like Legendary Dark Knight Mode, where players will be able to face off against hoards of demons.

A special physical release of Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is currently available to pre-order through the e-Capcom Japan online store. This limited edition comes with a handful of collector’s items such as an artbook and Vergil Sound Selection soundtrack CD. This edition is, however, limited to Japan.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will first release digitally on the Xbox Series X on November 10, 2020. It will release for the PlayStation 5 via PlayStation Store on November 12, 2020. Devil May Cry 5 is immediately available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
