How to Find ‘My Beloved Catharine’ in Octopath Traveler 2

There are times in when the side story answer in Octopath Traveler 2 might seem clear, and Clockbank’s “My Beloved Catharine” is one of those times. The Haggard Man tells you Catharine is likely still in town. It seems like it should be evident. However, if you check everyone, you won’t find any character in town with the name “Catharine.” The answer involves thinking outside the box a bit.

The key is to bring the Haggard Man with you. You can use someone who can Allure, Guide, Hire, or Befriend for this task. If you use Ochette, it will cost one Quality Jerky.

How to Find 'My Beloved Catharine' in Octopath Traveler 2
Take the man to the Clockbank Industrial District and head all the way left on the same street the inn is on. Walk all the way to the left, where you’ll see a lone white cat. Talk to it while the Haggard Man is in your party.

You’ll see a brief scene play out. You’ll be given 12,000 leaves and Cait Powder as a reward for completing “My Beloved Catharine” in Octopath Traveler 2. You’ll also only see Catharine’s Owner with her back there from here on out.

Octopath Traveler 2 is available for the Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC. A demo is available.
