What is Eerie Impulse?

Eerie Impulse is an Electric-type status move introduced in Pokemon Generation VI. When used, it reduces the target’s Special Attack stat by two stages. This drastic reduction can severely hamper opponents that rely on special moves, making Eerie Impulse an excellent choice for defensive and supportive strategies.

It’s a variation of the move Charm, which has the same effect for the Attack stat. The move has 100% accuracy, ensuring that it hits the target reliably unless the opponent has increased evasion or the user’s accuracy is decreased. While it does no damage, the tactical benefits make it a very powerful part of your party’s toolkit.
