How to complete “Give your Pokemon a nice washing” BBQ in Pokemon Indigo Disk

The “Give your Pokemon a nice washing” BBQ in Pokemon Indigo Disk is fairly straightforward if you know what you’re doing, but it’s not entirely clear just how to complete it if you don’t. Essentially, it’s asking you to give your Pokemon a bath.

To do this, follow the steps outlined below in Pokemon Indigo Disk:

  1. Go to an area with lots of space and open the main menu in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by pressing the X button on your right Joy-Con.
  2. Scroll down and click on “Picnic.”
  3. Wait until your character sets up the picnic and gets your Pokemon out of their Poke Balls.
  4. Go up to the Pokemon that you’d like to wash and press the X button to select “Wash.”
  5. A Mareep-shaped sponge will appear. Use the L-Stick and press and hold A to move it over your Pokemon to create soapy suds.
  6. When your Pokemon is ready to be rinsed, a shower icon will appear. Press the Y button to switch to rinse mode.
  7. Use the L-Stick and hold A like before to wash the soap suds off your Pokemon.
  8. Once your Pokemon is all clean, the “Give your Pokemon a nice washing” BBQ will complete!

You’ll receive 100 Battle Points (BP) for your efforts.

The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk DLC is now available on the Nintendo Switch.
