Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Key Visual Stars Gojo and Geto

MAPPA released a new key visual of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, featuring Gojo and Geto. The second season will feature a flashback arc of when Gojo and Geto were students. That arc is specifically what this key visual is for. More information will come out about the second season on March 25, 2023 at the AJ Stage.

Aside from Gojo and Geto, Toji Fushiguro, Riko Amanai, and Misato Kuroi are in the key visual as well. All three characters are major players in the Gojo’s Past Arc. As we can see from the key visual, however, the title of the arc will be the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc. Because the show essentially ended with the Death Painting Arc, we’ll likely start from the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a highly popular manga series that debuted in 2018 and then appeared as an anime adaptation in 2020. It follows the story of Yuji Itadori, who swallows the fingers of the powerful Curse Sukuna. However, he’s somehow able to control it to a degree. In order to prevent the jujutsu sorcerers from executing him, he trains to become a jujutsu sorcerer himself and fights against curses that threaten humanity.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will start airing in July 2023. It is readily available on streaming services such as Crunchyroll.
