Famitsu also revealed that Inafune’s 2024 keyword is “explosion,” and his aspirations for the new year involve “endless evolution and growth as a person.” Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time was originally revealed on February 2023. The game will appear on the Nintendo Switch, and it was initially scheduled for a 2023 release.

However, Level-5 revealed the 2024 delay of the game on November 2023. The company later confirmed Summer 2024 as the new release window during the Level-5 Vision 2023 II Showcase. The same showcase showed some of the quality of life changes that the game will introduce compared to its predecessor, such as improvements in mobility, flexibility when changing jobs, and room customization options.

Beyond his participation in the upcoming Fantasy Life i, Keiji Inafune is a household name in the games industry, and he is well known for his involvement in the Mega Man series, the Resident Evil series, and most recently the Azure Striker Gunvolt series.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will release worldwide on the Nintendo Switch in Summer 2024.
