Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn Rectified As Nintendo 3DS Game

Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn was reported to be for New Nintendo 3DS-only earlier this month, on the official page for the game. This has now been stealthily rectified.

The official site now says that the game is coming to Nintendo 3DS rather than New Nintendo 3DS, meaning that any 2DS or 3DS family of systems can play the game. Whether there will be any perks for playing it on the newer systems has not been revealed.

The hit Wii game Kirby’s Epic Yarn is warping to Nintendo 3DS. Every stage in the original Wii version is stitched in, but this Nintendo 3DS version has some new features, like the ability to craft bigger yarn balls, summon bead-collecting wind and play two new modes featuring familiar faces King Dedede and Meta Knight.

Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn is coming to Nintendo 3DS in 2019.
