KOF XV Kukri Trailer

KOF XV Kukri Trailer Marks the Return of the Sharp-Tongued Sandman

SNK has released a new character trailer for Kukri in KOF XV, giving fans a glimpse at the return of the foul-mouthed fighter from KOF XIV. The trailer showcases some of the fighter’s unique sand-based attacks and abilities. Additionally, it confirms that his voice actor Hiroki Takahashi is returning to reprise the role.

The mystery fighter who hails from North Africa is capable of manipulating sand through his Hot Sand Assassin’s Fist fighting style. The trailer features many of the character’s signature moves such as his sand-hover spinning kick and sand clone ability, which closely resemble his moves from the previous title.

Kukri was first introduced in King of Fighters XIV as part of a team with Sylvie Paula Paula and Mian. It was later revealed that Kukri was hired by Elisabeth to rescue Ash Crimson, who was also introduced in a new KOF XV trailer earlier this month.

One of the character’s defining traits is his penchant for arrogance as well as his obsession with women. Notably, Kukri was also the central antagonist of the SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy spin-off fighting game, where he trapped the series’ female fighters in a pocket dimension.

The King of Fighters XV will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 17, 2022.
