Nintendo has released a new video showing people what they’ll need to do the moment they turn on their Nintendo Switch for the first time. Getting the console set up is an eight step process, and this informative trailer takes under two minutes to show how quickly people can go through getting their new system ready.
The Nintendo Switch setup process begins with users choosing a language, then their region. After agreeing to a End-User License agreement, they connect the system to the internet. It’s at this point that the day-one update will begin. From there, people can choose a time zone. After that, it is possible immediately connect it to a TV. That step is optional, though part of the set-up process is a moment where you must remove the Joy-Con controllers. Once that’s done, you can set your icon, either by picking a pre-made one or creating a new Mii. The final step offers you the option to enable parental controls. Once that’s done, your Nintendo Switch is set up.
The Nintendo Switch will launch on March 3, 2017.
