On January 11, Sega will release, perhaps, the meatiest PSP demo to date. The Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity demo lets players take a character all the way up to level 100. Level… 100.
You can play through the first two episodes in the retail game. Nagisa, a new duman character, is waiting to meet players in level 2. Collaboration items like a yellow man jersey The demo supports four player multiplayer too – local and over the internet where you can check out the game’s visual lobbies. You still need a license to play online, but you can get that for free from the PlayStation Store starting on January 20. Online play for the demo will shutdown after Phantasy Star Portable 2 comes out on February 24.
All progress made in the demo can be carried over into the full game. The demo requires PSP firmware 6.31 and over 600 MB of free space on a Memory Stick.
