Qureate announced its next Switch adventure game, Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami. It is a horror title that seems to take cues from games like Clea and Clock Tower, as players will help three streamers escape a murderous mascot in a haunted hotel. It will be out on April 15, 2021 and cost $19.99. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

Nana, Azusa, and Mio are all part of Nana Channel, a group that visits areas and streams their experiences while exploring. Nana, the leader, suggested they head to the supposedly haunted Hotel Izanami for their next shoot. Mio gets separated, and players then must try to have her evade and hide from the mascot while also solving puzzles and searching for a way to escape. However, should the mascot manage to catch up to you, it can immediately kill you and end your game. While Mio is the main character, there will also be times when people have to tell Azusa and Nana what to do when they’re in dangerous situations.

Here’s the Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami trailer, which introduces the setting and shows the three heroines being stalked by the mascot.

Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami will appear on the eShop on April 15, 2021. Its official website is now open.
