In the launch trailer, we get to see the master demonstrate moves against a few former students of his in Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha. Master Roshi talks about the Turtle School way that he learned watching Goku and Krillin: to move, learn, play, eat, and rest well every day.

Towards the end we get to see Roshi pull off his greatest Kamehameha. This Kamehameha isn’t just any Kamehameha, it is a max-powered blast as Master Roshi’s Meteor Attack. It’s actually his original and signature move, so he gets the better one. Sorry, Goku.

Another thing that makes Master Roshi unique is that he doesn’t have a Super Dash. However, he makes up for it by having other maneuvers, including the “Master’s Jmp” that allows him to fly towards his opponent. He can also do a “Reverse Kamehameha” that we’ve seen Goku pull off on a number of occasions, and this can be done in mid-air. That said, he has some options, but he’s considered a tricky character rated B for “Ease of Use,” for what it’s worth.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Master Roshi will join as DLC on September 18, 2020, check out his Dragon Ball FighterZ announcement trailer here.
