Meet the First 24 Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Characters

Bandai Namco revealed more playable characters for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. While the company listed 24 characters in this announcement, multiple versions of Goku and Vegeta throughout Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super will be appearing as separate characters. The Sparking Zero roster will also include unique variations, such as the gigantic Great Ape Vegeta that appeared in the early parts of Dragon Ball Z.

The game’s Japanese official website provided more context to the character roster. Prior to this announcement, only the regular and Super Saiyan Blue versions of Goku and Vegeta from Dragon Ball Super were confirmed.

The Japanese page includes Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha who were confirmed to join the roster in late December 2023. It also boasts that Sparking Zero will have the highest roster scale in the series previously known in the West as Budokai Tenkaichi, with the following characters also listed:
