Meet Z, N, and Riku in the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC

Nintendo shared more information about Z, N, and Riku, returning characters in the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC. Meanwhile, Riku can upgrade the party’s weapons.

Z seems to be allied with Shulk and Rex in the cutscene when they meet the mysterious figure that resembles Alvis. Z faces him and says “Is this how badly you wish to erases us, my god?” Meanwhile, N is one of the highest ranking members of Moebius and a consul. He works for Z, and attacks The City under his orders, killing Matthew’s grandfather Ghondor in the process.

Riku will appear in the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC. While he said in the main game that he is a “common variety nopon,” he seems to have some secrets up his sleeve. He can upgrade the party’s weapons. Additionally, during a conversation between Nikol and Shulk, Riku reveals that he was the one to create Shulk’s prosthetic arm. However, Shulk says that the arm is a bit squeaky.

N is voiced by Ryohei Arai in the Japanese dub of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. He is known for voicing Willem Kmetsch in WorldEnd, and Toshiie “Toshi” Homura in Battle Spirits: Burning Soul.

Z is voiced by Akio Otsuka, who previously voiced Big Boss, Venom Snake, and Old Snake in the Metal Gear Solid franchise, as well as The Sundown Kid in Live A Live.

Riku is voiced by Sayaka Senbongi. She voiced Mumei in Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, and Claire Kokonoe in Chronicles of the Going Home Club.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch. The Future Redeemed DLC will appear with Wave 4 of the DLC Expansion Pass on April 25, 2023.
