While pre-registration has been open for a month or two now, Capcom Taiwan finally announced today that the smartphone game Mega Man X DiVE (Rockman X DiVE) will be released in Asian region Apple Store and Google Play Store on March 24, 2020.
The game was originally due to launch on March 4, but the game was pushed back in order to improve on the gameplay feedback received from the beta. On the original date of release, Capcom Taiwan released a message apologizing for the delay, and that news of the release would come soon, which is where we are today.
As nothing has been said regarding regions that the game will launch in, it can be assumed that the launch regions will be the same as previously stated, which are Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Cambodia. The game will support Chinese, English, and Thai. That said, Capcom Taiwan mentioned last time that they are currently evaluating which regions to launch the game in next.
Finally, here’s a look at Alia, Pallette, and Massimo’s skills below:
Alia can use the fiery Melt Creeper and ranged Green Spinner skills.
Pallette can use Black Arrow, which seems to be a straightforward damage move, and Ion Gun, which paralyzes.
Massimo can use Whirlwind, which makes him swing his axe to hit an enemy, which lets him gain a shield afterwards, as well as the Berserker Charge move which, despite its name, is actually a piercing laser beam.
Mega Man X DiVE launches for iOS and Android devices on March 24, 2020. The game is open for pre-registration in Asia.
