I didn’t make it to the Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII launch party, but Siliconera reader, RagolSlayer did. For everyone who wasn’t at the Metreon, RagolSlayer did us a huge favor by taking pictures of the party and writing up a report that I can’t take any credit for. He notes:

RagolSlayer here. Went to the Crisis Core launch party today at the Metreon and I thought you might want to see a few pics of the event. It was mainly a waiting in line event. I got there at about 2PM and there were already about 80 or so people there (I was 84th in line.) The Sony people came out and had a trivia challenge for people in line – if you got a question correct, you got a Shinra UMD case. Most questions were based off of stuff from VII, but some also came from Advent Children, too.

So people started getting in at six and it took me about an hour of waiting to get inside. After that, got my Shinra ID card and T-Shirt and listened to who won the raffle (I didn't win anything.), and then left. So, all in all:

6 hours waiting in line; 30 minutes of launch party time.

Six hours of waiting for a thirty minute party? You deserve a reward for your effort and sharing this with the Siliconera community. Check your e-mail :).

RagnolSlayer, thanks again for being a citizen journalist and I hope that Shinra Electric Company shirt fits you!
