The album will consist of 4 CDs containing a combined total of 117 songs. It will also include the newest rendition of Mizutsune’s theme. The bubble-spewing leviathan made its return in this Japanese-themed Monster Hunter game after its debut in Monster Hunter Generations. Prospective players can also try fighting against Mizutsune in the Monster Hunter Rise demo, which is available immediately on Nintendo eShop.

Capcom previously shared a mini-soundtrack album digitally through streaming services like Spotify. With only six songs, including the Rise version of the Monster Hunter series theme song “Proof of a Hero” and the theme of the title’s flagship monster Magnamalo, the mini-album is just a sneak peek of the massive soundtrack that will also be available physically.

Monster Hunter Rise will be available simultaneously worldwide for Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021. A PC version is also currently in the works and is expected to release in early 2022. Expect more new information on the game to be revealed in dedicated digital events that are set to air from March 8, 9 and 11, 2021.
