Monster Hunter Rise Street Fighter Akuma

Monster Hunter Rise Street Fighter Event Will Let Players Become Akuma

Capcom revealed through Twitter that the third Capcom collaboration in Monster Hunter Rise will be with the Street Fighter series. However, while previous collaborations were purely just cosmetic, this collaboration goes a step further. Players will be able to channel the Satsui no Hado and become Akuma. Unlike the Okami and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin collaborations, players will not only transform into Akuma but have complete access to his move set, as well. The Monster Hunter Rise and Street Fighter collaboration event will arrive on August 27, 2021.

There are currently two Capcom collaborations left that are scheduled to appear in Monster Hunter Rise. Information regarding these potential collaborations is currently unknown. Additionally, a potential timeframe as to when these collaborations will appear is also unknown.

Monster Hunter Rise is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch. A PC version will arrive sometime in early 2022.
