Pre-orders for a Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin limited edition are now available through the e-Capcom storefront. Several pre-order benefits will be available to consumers that choose to pre-order the game directly through Capcom. This includes an acrylic standee, a carrying case for the Nintendo Switch, and badges designed to look like polaroid photographs. Consumers can purchase this limited edition for ¥13,200 (or $120). Additionally, pre-order of the Monster Hunter Stories 2 limited edition through the e-Capcom store will net consumers a special postcard. A total of three postcards will be available to obtain. Each postcard will feature various scenes from the upcoming game. However, the postcards will be randomly distributed through pre-orders.
Monster Hunter Stories 2 amiibos are currently available to purchase as well. However, these amiibo will only be released to select retailers in both the United States and Canada. These amiibo will provide in-game cosmetics in the form of layered armor. There are a total of three amiibo currently available to purchase. Japanese consumers can currently pre-order the Monster Hunter Stories 2 amiibo on the e-Capcom shop as well.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will arrive on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on July 9, 2021.
