Nahida’s character video, “Happy Birthday,” may contain spoilers for the Sumeru Archon Quests. In it, Nahida narrates the events that take place on her birthday, though something seems off.

You can watch the Nahida episode trailer here:

Nahida’s Elemental Skill All Schemes to Know, changes its effect depending on if you hold it down or not. If you simply press it, it causes AoE Dendro DMG and marks up to eight opponents with the Seed of Skandha. Holding it down will allow you to aim the skill, which means you can mark enemies outside of your immediate range with the Seed of Skandha.

The Seed of Skandha links up to eight opponents together. If you trigger an elemental reaction on one of them or if they take damage from Dendro Cores, all opponents will get hit with Tri-Karma Purification. Nahida can only activate this once per set interval. This is Dendro DMG that scales off of Nahida’s ATK and Elemental Mastery.

As for Nahida’s Elemental Burst Illusory Heart, she creates a field that will manifest separate effects depending on what elemental types you have in your party. If you have two characters of the same element, then it will amplify the specific effect.

The effects of Illusory Heart are:

  • Pyro: While Nahida is in the Shrine of Maya, she deals greater damage with Tri-Karma Purification.
  • Electro: While Nahida is in the Shrine of Maya, the cooldown time for Tri-Karma Purification is shorter.
  • Hydro: The Shrine of Maya will last longer.

In Japanese, Yukari Tamura voices Nahida. Tamura is also the voice of Qiqi in Genshin Impact, and her other roles include Nanoha from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Io from Granblue Fantasy. Nahida’s English voice actress is Kimberley Anne Campbell. Campbell previously appeared as Dawn in Pokemon Masters and Nagatoro in Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro.

Nahida will be available for a limited time in the gacha in Genshin Impact Version 3.2. The other 5-star that players can pull for will be Yoimiya.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Version 3.2 will debut on November 2, 2022.
