We know that the game will come out in English, Japanese, and other languages. Like the original Neko Atsume, it will be free to play. There will be items you can pay real money for, as well as ads. You have to play it on a devices that has either iOS firmware 12.0 or better, or Android 6.0 or newer.

As for the current Neko Atsume, Hit-Point stated that it will continue to support the original version of the game even after the sequel comes out. However, it is currently focusing its attention on developing Neko Atsume 2. As a result, there has been a delay in updates for the first game, which Hit-Point apologizes for.

Neko Atsume, or Kitty Collector, originally came out in 2014 for iOS and Android devices. The game is an idle game in which you can purchase food, cat toys, and furniture to attract cats to your yard. The cats will play and hang out, leaving behind fish that you can use to purchase more items or upgrades to your yard. The cats can also leave toys once you befriend them, which usually happens after multiple visits.

Neko Atsume 2 is in development for iOS and mobile devices, and it’ll come out in Summer 2024.
