Neon from Stranger of Paradise joins Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia

Neon from Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is now in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia following the most recent update. Players will be able to recruit Jack Garland’s ally in the Act 3 Interlude “In a Godless World.” Her arrival in the global version comes almost a year after her debut in the Japanese version.

You can check out the announcement, along with a preview of Neon from Stranger of Paradise in Dissidia FFOO, below:

As you can see in the trailer, Neon is a sword user and her moves focus on dealing fire damage. Markedly, her abilities cause “Fires of Rage.” Upon reaching six stacks, it can inflict Maximum BRV Damage. An alternate outfit, the red jacket, was also unveiled, based on her appearance when choosing the red mage job. (Costumes are paid items in the game.)

For Neon’s FR weapon’s ability, she summons Celes from Final Fantasy VI to conjure a giant flaming sword and attack all enemies. Her other abilities, such as Asura and Firebringer, also allude to her fiend and Chaos Advent forms seen in Stranger of Paradise.

Neon is the second character from Stranger of Paradise to appear in Dissidia FFOO, the first being protagonist Jack Garland. Both characters first arrived in the Japanese version in April and July 2022. Astos appeared in the Japanese version at the end of 2022, so it is very likely that we can meet him in the global version in a few months.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. You can play Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
