Go! Go! 5D Game: Neptunia reVerse will be released outside of Japan and, in more good news, you won’t have to remember a really long title whenever you want to talk about it. Idea Factory International announced it will release Neptunia ReVerse on the PlayStation 5 worldwide in 2021.

It should look familiar to, as it is an updated version of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1. Which, as you might recall, is an updated version of the very first game in the series. It reestablishes who Neptune is, what’s going on in the Console War, why the Console Patron Units are against each other, and how Arfoire (R4, as in piracy) is a threat to everyone.

The critical point about Neptunia ReVerse is how it again updates the original update with a new UI, better graphics, and more playable characters. In fact, people who choose Arrange Mode can have over 20 characters from the Hyperdimension Neptunia series a whole in their party. (By the way, parties now allow you to have four people around, instead of three.) Also, just like Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis, Neptune is into fishing this time around. Which means everyone has access to a fishing minigame.

Neptunia ReVerse will come to the PlayStation 5 in Japan on December 17, 2020. It will appear digitally and physically outside of Japan in 2021.
