Netflix’s One Piece Live-Action Poster Confirms 2023 Launch

There’s still some time before Luffy and the crew set sail in a new version of the adventure. However, there is a brief update on the upcoming adaptation. Netflix shared a new One Piece live-action poster with release date window. There is still no exact release date yet. However, the reveal does confirm it will leave port in 2023. The official series page is also live on Netflix.

In the new Netflix poster confirming the One Piece live action release date window, we only get to see this version of Monkey D. Luffy from the back. As a reminder, Inaki Godoy is playing the character in the show. He previously appeared in La Querida del Centauro and The Imperfects. We only get to see him from the back. However, he is wearing Luffy’s iconic straw hat.

As for the teaser page on Netflix, it shows more of the crew from the back. From left to right, Sanji, Nami, Luffy, Usopp, and Zoro appear. It doesn’t offer any additional description or episode count.

The show has been in the works for a while now. For example, back in February 2022 filming began. Once it did, Netflix began teasing its progress by showing photos of the crew on set.

While there’s no One Piece live-action release date yet, the show will appear on Netflix in 2023. The anime is available on Crunchyroll and manga is localized by Viz Media.
