In Japan, Square Enix is counting down to the release of Octopath Traveler 2 with character art of cast members from the first and second game. Over the weekend, an additional four pieces appeared. In addition to showing some people alone, like Ochette or Castti, there are more pairings. In those Octopath Traveler 2 images, people who share jobs like Temenos and Ophilia or Hikari and Olberic appear together. All images were drawn by members of the dev team.
First, the February 9, 2023 picture showed Octopath Traveler 2’s Ochette with some of her animal friends. This is a nod to how she can “capture” monsters in battles, then use them latter as allies or food.
