Back in June 2019, a Monster Hunter World: Iceborne beta was available for PlayStation 4 owners. It allowed people to fight three monsters and explore the Hoarfrost Reach region. Now, a second beta has been revealed for the PlayStation and Xbox One. PlayStation 4 owners will be able to play August 30-September 1, 2019. Then, Xbox One owners will be able to play the game between September 2-4, 2019. Preloading will begin on August 28, 2019.

This Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be similar to the one held in June 2019. You won’t need a copy of Monster Hunter World to participate. All 14 weapons are going to be available, people will get to test out Clutch Claw grappling, and the Training Area will be open. It also will have three of the same monsters from the last event. The Great Jagras beginner quest, Banbaro intermediate quest, and Tigrex expert quests will return. However, this time around Velkhana will be available as a fourth quest.

There will also be an incentive to play. Those who go through this Monster Hunter World: Iceborne demo will get one commendation pack for clearing each hunt for the first time. These packs can be carried over to the full game.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will appear on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2019 and PC in January 2020. People will get free Guardian Armor to prepare for it.
