Capcom are releasing a new Onimusha game on browsers and smartphones. Onimusha Soul will be a strategy RPG, and will feature characters from the PlayStation 2 games. The game will feature a new story and have you playing as a warlord, building up your empire and going to war with other players.

Since this is also a social game, Capcom are making it possible for players to align themselves together into groups or opposing factions. Onimusha Souls runs on the Unity 3D engine, and Capcom promise beautiful visuals.

Onimusha Souls service will begin on June 28th for browsers. The smartphone version will be released sometime in fall. The game will be free-to-play with item-based transactions. You can listen to some music on the game’s official website.
