Persona Puzzle & Dragons Event Returns

The Persona Puzzle & Dragons event is back. Which, well, people might have seen coming since it returned in the Japanese version of the game back in July 2020. But anyways, the global version has brought back the collaboration, which involves characters from Persona 3 through 5, until September 20, 2020. As expected, it also means new appearances from characters like Persona 3 Portable heroine Kotone Shiomi, Tohru Adachi, Futaba Sakura, and Kasumi Yoshizawa.

This event means there will be new characters in a Persona Memorial Egg Machine. People will also be able to go through the Persona Mementos, Persona Challenge!, and Multiplayer! Persona! dungeons. (That last one is a three-player dungeon.)

While the four aforementioned characters are the “new” ones, some other additions show up in the event this time too. Makoto Yuki, Yu Narukami, Ren Amamiya, and Elizabeth are all among characters to have new evolutions. (Elizabeth’s is only an Assist Evolution.) Both Kotone’s Earphones and Makoto’s Earphones also appear as new Monster Exchange items alongside the returning Morgana.

There are also some paid options to help guarantee people get certain Persona Puzzle & Dragon characters. The $0.99 option offers a Persona Egg Machine pull and a Magic Stone. For $9.99, you can get the Kasumi Yoshizawa Egg Machine and 10 Magic Stones bundle. The most expensive is the $19.99 20 Magic Stone and six-star Persona Egg Machine bundle that will guarantee you one of the six-star Persona characters.

Here’s a gallery of all of the different Persona 3, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4, Persona 5, and Persona 5 Royal characters appearing as part of the collaboration. The six-star characters are Adachi, Elizabeth, Kotone, Makoto, Ren, and Yu. The five-star characters are Aigis, Futaba, Goro, Kasumi, Makoto, Mitsuru, Teddie, and Yosuke.

Puzzle & Dragons is available worldwide on Android and Apple iOS devices. The Persona Puzzle & Dragons global event will run until September 20, 2020. This event originally appeared in the game in 2018.
