Pokemon GO Home Transfer Capabilities Are Rolling Out

Pokemon GO Home compatibility is kicking off and, just as The Pokemon Company International and Niantic suggested, it has the potential to be expensive or time consuming. People in the mobile app will eventually be able to use the GO Transporter as it rolls out. It lets you send Pokemon from Pokemon GO to the storage center, but only if you have enough energy to do so. Also, to celebrate this event, a Gigantamax Melmetal is being given away in Pokemon Home.

When using the GO Transporter, each Pokemon you select could end up needing a different amount of energy to send over. As shown in the screenshots, there will be a gauge showing the GO Transporter Energy, with a “Charge Now” option that would let people pay coins to immediate Pokemon GO Home transfers. More than one character can be sent at a time to a mobile version of Pokemon Home. Also, it will be a one-way trip, as those Pokemon can’t head back to Pokemon GO again.

As for the Gigantamax Melmetal, it will be a reward for people’s first transfer from Pokemon GO to the storage hub. It will be available as a Pokemon Home Mystery Gift that can be sent to either Pokemon Sword and Shield. Normally, evolving a Meltan into a Melmetal requires 400 Meltan Candies and the ensuing character would be a standard one incapable of Gigantamaxing.
