Pokémon Company Teams With Original Stitch For Custom Dress Shirts With 151 Pokémon Patterns

Recommended Videos

Custom dress shirt retailer Original Stitch and The Pokémon Company are teaming up for a new service that will allow fans to create custom shirts using patterns based on the original 151 Pokémon its designs.

The idea behind Original Stitch’s new collaboration service with Pokémon is aimed towards those who grew up playing the original Pokémon Red & Green and want to show it with dress shirts of their own design, be it a subtle Charmander pocket pattern or a flashy Magikarp shirt. There are seven different parts including the collar, back, pocket, sleeves, and more that you can custom design.

It wouldn’t be a fancy Pokémon product without some kind of touching ad, so here you go:

The video probably doesn’t need much explaining, but it’s basically about an office worker who sees a boy wearing a Charmander hat that reminds him of the old days playing the original game with his friends. That night he finds the custom Pokémon Shirts service and orders himself a dress shirt with some Charmander patterns. A few days later he’s running late to work when he runs into the boy again, who points out his shirt. The mother apologizes and tells him not to bother the busy young man to which the boy says “But he’s wearing a Charmander shirt!” Just as he was about to rush back to work, he decides to take his time to tell that boy that it is indeed a Charmander shirt, and that meant they’re buddies.

Here’s a closer look at some of the shirts you can get from Original Stitch:
