Chronologically, it takes place between Psycho-Pass 3 and Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case 3: On the Other Side of Love and Hate.

The series first came out in 2012 and is a psychological crime thriller set in a dystopian sci-fi world. Gen Urobuchi wrote the story and Akira Amano (who is the mangaka of Katekyo Hitman Reborn) designed the characters. The Sibyl System is the computer network that oversees the citizens of Japan and helps them to walk on their ideal life path. It also assesses their Cme Coefficient (criminal potentiality) and those with higher numbers are apprehended even if they do not commit a crime yet.
