Puyo Puyo eSports Shows A Glimpse Of Its Modes In A New Trailer

Sega shared a new trailer for Puyo Puyo eSports, the recently announced PS4 and Switch title that focuses more on the competitive aspect of the game. Here’s a glimpse of some of its modes.

 

In Puyo Puyo eSports, players will get to choose rules from Puyo Puyo 2 and Puyo Puyo Fever. In addition to many familiar characters from the series, including Puyo Puyo!! Quest, for over 24 characters to choose from. The game offers Internet Versus and a Tournament Mode where you can compete with up to eight players offline on a bracket.

 

Puyo Puyo eSports releases in Japan on October 25, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Check out our previous report for more information on how the game plays and a look at some of its characters. In case you missed it, we saw some clues pointing at a possible Western release.
