Nintendo shared not only the Pyra and Mythra amiibo release date, but offered details on their compatibility. In addition to working with Super Smash Bros Ultimate, they will also work with Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The two will be bundled together in a double pack and debut on July 21, 2023.

As usual, the Pyra and Mythra amiibo will work as figures you battle and improve in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. You can also get items for scanning them into the game. In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, it offers cosmetic changes. When scanned in, each character’s respective version of the Aegis will appear as Noah’s weapon when he is a Swordfighter. However, Nintendo also confirmed both weapon skins will be available via a patch without the figures eventually in-game.

Here’s a closer look at the packaging for the double pack, as well as how Noah’s sword will look in-game after the figures are scanned.

The Pyra and Mythra amiibo double pack release date is July 21, 2023. Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 are available for the Nintendo Switch. Noah and Mio amiibo are also in development.
