There are digital and physical Xenoblade Chronicles items on the way. Nintendo announced a release date for the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC expansion, as well as shared Noah and Mio amiibo are in the works. The former will appear on April 25, 2023. There’s no release date for the latter yet. There’s also a trailer showing off the add-on.

Editor’s Note: The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC trailer includes spoilers for the main game.

Here’s a closer look at the expansion. It begins with a young man named Matthew trying to reach his grandfather, who appears to be stabbed by a man who looks like N. A picture of Noah and Mio flashes. From there, we see Matthew and the other new characters who will feature in the expansion. Among them are Shulk and Rex from the previous two games. During a battle scene, we see Matthew’s party includes those past protagonists, as well as characters named A, Nikol, and Glimmer. It also shows the new Unity Combo mechanic.

As for the Noah and Mio amiibo, there are no preliminary images for the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 NFC figures. Nintendo didn’t note what they will do when scanned into the game.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is available for the Nintendo Switch, and the Future Redeemed DLC release date is April 25, 2023. One of the last add-ons added Masha as a new character.
