Rathian Backflips Her Way Into Monster Hunter Stories

Recommended Videos

Capcom released their latest Otomon introduction video with the Queen of the Land herself, Rathian. The video gives us a look at some of her actions in the upcoming 3DS RPG.

Rathian’s Ride Action allows for you to see burrows marked on the bottom-screen map. You’ve been hit by Rathian’s annoying backflip attack on many occasions in past Monster Hunter games, but this time it’ll be there to help you out. This Active Skill basically deals damage and inflicts poison on the enemy. Her special attack at the end is called “Flame Shaver.”

Monster Hunter Stories will release in Japan on October 8, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS. Check our earlier report for a look at videos for Lagombi, Brachydios, Lagiacrus, Zinogre, Qurupeco, and Aptonoth.
