As a sailor seeking love, seeking to remember love, or simply contemplating it, players will sail through a charming world filled with animals, puzzles, sailing, and sights to see in Solo.
Players will begin Solo by telling it whether they seek love, have it, or have lost it, and the narrative will be shaped by this decision. This story will further change as they solve puzzles and answer questions, taking the tale in whatever direction the player wishes to explore.
Players will also sail to various archipelagos, each containing puzzles the player can solve using various types of blocks. This have no set solution, so players are free to solve them in whatever way they can conceive using boxes that are magnetic, ones that spew fire or gusts of wind, as well as ones that can contain animals or have other effects.
Players can take the time to relax and enjoy the sights as well. Animals can be interacted with, allowing players to have some fun with cute creatures. They also have access to a camera if they enjoy the look of a particular vista. They are also free to sail the area in their boat, taking in the world as waves lap at them.
