Searching for stars with your PSP

Leave it to Sega to bring out a unique application for the PSP and the upcoming GPS peripheral. Homestar is not a game, it’s a planetarium in your pocket. After entering in the date and time Homestar will reproduce the starry night sky on the PSP screen. It even adds in celestial events like lunar eclipses and comet orbits. Homestar works with the GPS add on to get a fix on where the PSP is. Using that data Homestar can create a map of the sky specifically for that area. While this probably won’t sell millions of PSPs, Homestar sounds like a cool tool for a junior astronomer.
