Sega Announces Wonder Gravity, A Gravity Defying RPG For Smartphones

Sega Games announced today Wonder Gravity ~The Pino and The Gravity User~ as a 2018 mobile title. The game will be free to play, with microtransactions.

 

The story is set in a world without land or ocean, where humans live together with Pino, who are a small-sized race of beings born from the stars. By eating the fruit of Pino, humans can become gravity users.

 

One day, a boy named Hugo receives a message from his disappeared father, which says that he has reached a place named “Endroll” at the very bottom of the world, which has a mysterious power. Hugo meets a Pino named Neil who wants to help his sick childhood friend, and with Neil’s help, Hugo becomes a gravity user.

 

Hugo soon realizes that he’s not the only person aiming to find the elusive “Endroll”…

The story is written by Yasuko Kobayashi, who has written for TV shows such as Samurai Sentai Shinkenger and Kamen Rider Den-O. The gameplay focuses around fighting monsters called Debris by manipulating the strengths of two different gravity fields to attack with floating objects.

 

Wonder Gravity will be available for iPhone and Android in 2018.
