Sega Will Give Away a PC That Is Built on Wheels

Sega has revealed a custom-made PC that can actually zoom around on wheels. It will hand over the PC to a lucky winner in a Japan-exclusive sweepstake.

Sega created this PC together with Intel and ASRock. The PC comprises of an Intel Core i9-12900K, a Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GPU, a Crucial 2000GB M.2 SSD, and 2x16GB DDR4-3200 RAM. Sega also enlisted help from G Force, a Japanese company specializing in RC cars and drones, to work on the wheels.

The trailer below shows how the companies built the PC and its wheels. After a successful test run at Mobara Twin Circuit, it actually recorded a speed of 100 km/h (~62 mph).

Sega will give away this PC in a sweepstake to help promote the Steam Holiday Sale 2021. To join the sweepstake, people residing in Japan can follow Sega on Twitter and retweet the specified tweet by January 5, 2022. One lucky person will win the unique PC with Steam keys for 23 games from Sega and Atlus, including Persona 5 Strikers, Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne, and the Yakuza series.

Sega and Atlus have been recently keen on including the PC in their upcoming multiplatform releases. Atlus will release a remastered port of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax on March 17, 2022, while Sega is working on Sonic Frontiers with the 2022 holiday season as its release window.
