JAST has picked up Seinarukana: The Spirit of Eternity Sword 2, sequel to Aselia the Eternal. Both titles are JRPGs with dating sim and visual novel elements, and they’re usually adults only. However, the English release will also result in an all-ages version that will be available for people purchasing through Steam. In addition, the all-ages, Steam version of Seinarukana will include the content from the all-ages PlayStation Portable release.
The Steam page for Seinarukana isn’t live yet, but JAST is currently accepting pre-orders for physical copies via its official website. With the 10% discount in effect, it’s $44.95 and includes a DVD copy of the 18+ version of the game, a Steam key for the all-ages version of the game, a manual, and a poster.
Seinarukana stars Nozomu, a young man who has a god’s soul inside of him. This means he has access to a certain amount of power, but also has to fight against the urge to use them. He and his friends have Eternity Swords and Guardian Spirits within them. Fortunately, this will come in handy, as they’re thrust into a fantasy world.
On the RPG side, Seinarukana is an over 50 hour RPG with 19 playable characters, hundreds of strongholds to take control of and artifacts to create, over 120 CGs, and six endings.
A release date has not yet been set for the Windows PC release of Seinarukana: The Spirit of Eternity Sword 2. Aselia the Eternal is currently on Steam Greenlight.
