Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice’s secret demo boss has been exposed, thanks to Chinese media site Gamecores. [Thanks, Resetera!]
The boss is called a Headless, and it holds a sword in its hand that it uses to attack in slow, flailing motions. It doesn’t have high health, but creates black smoke around it that slows down your movement. The black smoke will also stop you in your tracks in fear if the purple bar fills up, as well as damaging you with a bleeding effect. If it attacks you from behind, it will one-hit kill you, and even if you revive, it will just perform the attack again.
The Headless can teleport by creating an copy of itself that attacks you from a closer location, and this attack applies to different levels of elevation as well. This attack is done periodically, and it regains full health every time it does so. This means you want to rush to take it down, yet it is also invincible until you use a certain item to disable its invincibility for a short period of time.
