Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is getting its patch 1.04 update sometime in early April, and Marvelous has provided a sneak peek at the new rule and new map that comes with it.
The new rule called “Kune-Kune Happening Tournament” will be added to the game with the update. In this rule, the objective is to see how many times you can do a “Kune-Kune Finish” against the enemy team.
The new map is called “Sakura Field,” a Japanese-style map made in “wabi-sabi” fashion. It comes in both day and night versions, and you’ll get to check it out in both multiplayer and diorama modes.
Two new episodes will be added. One called “Surprise Summer Festival” and the other is “Save the Sushi Queen.”
The update will also make some adjustments, so that when you hit enemies it’ll show a hit effect to get a better visual.
They’re also adding a new hit indicator for the UI that’ll make it easier to tell where you’re getting shot from.
And finally, the update is also adding a few other adjustments, such as a way to make your favorited scene sets back to their default, as well as a list of tips that display on the loading menu.
As far as new costumes go, the “Raincoat,” “Sexy Restaurant,” “China Dress” and various other outfits have been added.
Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is available in Japan for PlayStation 4. The game is headed Westward in Summer 2017.
