Shin Megami Tensei V Release Date Announced

As part of the packed E3 2021 Nintendo Direct, a Shin Megami Tensei V release date appeared. It also turned out to be one we already knew about. Back at the beginning of June 2021, Atlus accidently updated the Japanese website with a November 11, 2021 release date. Now, the latest showcase confirmed that is when the game will appear worldwide on November 12, 2021.

As is common in SMT games, Shin Megami Tensei V will involve allying with demons and shaping the course of a world. An earlier trailer from July 2020 showed how the player’s avatar is tasked with finding a “path” now that this is “a world without its Creator.” The new trailer mentioned players being pulled into a different dimension. You’re in a new Tokyo.

Shin Megami Tensei V will come to the Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021. Its official website is open.
